The 2008 NCAA Men's Final Four is coming to San Antonio next April.

There are several fun and exciting events for Go!Kids during the Final Four from April 3-5.
You can sign up for the YES (Youth Education through Sports) Clinics, FREE basketball clinics held around San Antonio for kids ages 10 to 16. You’ll receive sport instruction from NCAA coaches and student athletes. Clinics are being offered at Trinity University, Sam Houston High School or at Lackland Air Force Base.
Do the Dome Dribble to Hoop City. Three thousdand (3,000) lucky dribblers under the age of 18 will dribble their way around the Alamodome to the Convention Center, the home of Hoop City. Participants will receive a basketball, t-shirt and entrance into Hoop City as part of this free event.
Test your basketball skills at NCAA Hoop City, an interactive celebration showcasing the excitement and fanfare of NCAA championships. At Hoop City, fans of all ages can run, jump, shoot and play until the final buzzer! When we say there’s something for everybody, we really mean it. There’s fun competitions, basketball clinics, prizes, autograph sessions with NCAA coaches and great players of the past, surprise appearances and so much more.

Subway Victory Lap Celebration Rocks!

The San Antonio Sports Foundation thanks all of our sponsors who supported the 2007 Valero Go!Kids Challenge, the companies and organizations that made the health and fitness fair lots of fun, the performers and celebrites who joined us on stage and the volunteers who helped to make Sunday’s event a great success.
The Sports Foundation congratulates everyone who successfully completed the Valero Go!Kids Challenge this year and reminds all Go!Kids who were not able to get to the Alamodome that they’ll receive their finishers’ gold medals at school through their PE teachers.
Don’t stop moving! You’ve been doing a great job of exercising regularly and we encourage you to keep it up. Exercise is fun and it will keep you healthy and strong. Join an organized sports team or just have fun with your family — all exercise counts!

Big 12 Soccer Championship Welcomes Go!Kids

We know lots of you Go!Kids are soccer players and soccer fans. Want to see some of the best college soccer players in the nation? On November 7, 9 and 11, join the San Antonio Sports Foundation as we host the Big 12 Women’s Soccer Championship at Blossom Soccer Stadium. Tickets are only $6 a day, $12 for a tournament pass or $99 for a 20-ticket team packages. Get your whole youth soccer team to come! You can buy tickets at the gate or purchase them in advance at area soccer stores or through the San Antonio Sports Foundation. Just click here to get more information and a ticket order form.
Calling All Youth Soccer Coaches
The San Antonio Sports Foundation invites coaches of youth, club or school soccer teams to participate in a free coaches’ clinic led by the head coaches of the University of Texas and Texas A&M women’s soccer teams on Tuesday, Nov. 6, from 6-9 p.m. at the Classics Elite Academy Soccer Fields, 1600 E. This Sunday! - The Subway Victory Lap Celebration at the Alamodome

Don’t miss the fun and excitement this Sunday at the Valero Go!Kids Challenge Subway Victory Lap Celebration! San Antonio Spurs basketball player Matt Bonner, Olympian Liza Hunter Galvan, Go!Kids mascots Jumping Jack and Active Annie, a rock climbing wall, CATZ Sports’ obstacle course and timed 40-yard dash, the San Antonio Rampage Road Show, and so much more will be part of the Subway Victory Lap Celebration on Sunday at the Alamodome. Come anytime between 12 noon and 4 p.m. There will performances by Windcrest Elementary’s Unicycle and Stomp Routine, Steubing Elementary’s Skippers, Morrill Elementary’s Drumline and others. Several booths will offer interactive fitness activities designed to motivate the children and their families to continue their active lifestyles.
Celebrate your eight-week achievement of exercising 30 minutes a day at least six days a week and get your well-deserved t-shirt and medal. Only participants who come to the Alamodome will receive a t-shirt. All participants will receive finisher’s medals. Parking is free.
