The Go!Kids Challenge Field Day is Sunday

What do Mayor Castro, Olympian Justin Olsen, Steele High School’s championship football team, WNBA All Star Marie Ferdinand Harris and UTSA Football Coach Larry Coker have in common? They will ALL be at the Valero Go!Kids Challenge Field Day THIS SUNDAY, April 10. The fun begins at noon and goes until 3 p.m. They will join Jared from Subway, the Spurs Coyote, Silver Star’s Silver Fox, and others.

You can enter to win an iPod boom box, $100 Valero gas card, $100 gift card from Sport Authority and a football signed by Steele High School’s football team. Plus there will be lots of fun activities like hula hoop madness, sack races, soccer shootout, bean bag target, agility ladder, fitness circuit, race walking, parachute popcorn, and tail snatch tag.

Remember to bring your Go!Kids finisher’s coupon from your journal or the print out from your online journal at www.gokidschallenge.com to receive your medal and backpack. That’s what will prove you’ve completed the 2011 Go!Kids Challenge.

The Go!Kids Field Day is FREE, so bring the entire family. Parking is $5 in Lot B of the Alamodome, a special discounted Fiesta rate for Go!Kids only. The Fiesta Carnival will be going on in Lot C of the Alamodome. Come to the Field Day and then head to the carnival.
